Are you a recent graduate with coop experience or an early-career professional eager to build your accounting career with a growing Canadian company? Hillberg & Berk, a proudly Canadian-owned jewelry brand, is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our passionate team!
In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly — from processing daily transactions to supporting month-end reporting. You’ll work closely with and learn from experienced finance professionals while developing your skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.
What You’ll Do Each Day
- Embody and champion the Hillberg & Berk culture, living our values and creating positive experiences for both teammates and clients.
- Process accounts payable and receivable — including vendor invoices, employee expenses, credit card transactions, deposits, and bank receipts across multiple sales channels.
- Post and reconcile inventory receipts and prepaid inventory.
- Support month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of deliverables.
- Record and reconcile retail cash deposits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage vendor payment schedules.
- Assist the Finance team with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis for internal stakeholders.
Salary Pay Range Starting At: $50,000
What You Bring to the Table
- You are located in Regina, SK and can work in office multiple days a week
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or working towards one).
- You have work experience or exposure to accounting, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping — through coursework, internships, and/or previous work.
- You have a strong skillset in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- If you have experience with Fulfil or other accounting systems we consider this an asset but not a requirement
- You have a detail-oriented mindset, an eagerness to learn, and a collaborative spirit.
